Banking2Day ("Banking2Day", "we", "us", "our") operates the website banking2day.com (the "Site"), an independent information and comparison platform for banking and financial products. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices and rights available to you. It applies to everyone who visits or uses the Site.
By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. We process personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDPA") and other applicable data protection law.
We aim to collect no more than we need. Depending on how you use the Site, this may include:
You can browse the Site and use most calculators without submitting any personal information. We do not knowingly collect government ID numbers (such as Aadhaar or PAN), bank account numbers or card details — never enter these into our forms; a genuine lender will collect that information directly and securely on their own platform.
We do not use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you. Calculator outputs are illustrative estimates, not decisions, offers or approvals.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it only in the following circumstances:
Where a provider relationship involves a referral fee to us, this is disclosed near the relevant comparison — see How We Earn Money. Sharing your enquiry with a provider is always something you actively choose to do — we don't share it as a default of browsing the Site.
We use cookies and similar technologies for three purposes:
You can control or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect how parts of the Site function, such as a calculator remembering your inputs.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures — including encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls and regular review of our systems — to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy — typically, enquiry and contact records for up to 24 months from your last interaction, or longer where needed to comply with a legal, tax or regulatory obligation, resolve a dispute, or enforce our agreements. You can ask us to delete your information sooner; see Section 8.
Subject to applicable law, including the DPDPA where it applies to you, you have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 10. We will respond within a reasonable time and in line with applicable law.
The Site is intended for users aged 18 and above and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
In accordance with applicable Indian law, we have designated a Grievance Officer to address questions or complaints about this Policy or our handling of your personal information:
Grievance Officer

We aim to acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within 30 days. See also our Grievance Redressal page for our full escalation process.
We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest version; material changes will be highlighted on the Site. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Policy.
